The Consumer Price Indexes and the Producer Price Indexes are reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.  These indexes compare prices over time.  They do NOT compare different areas at the same time.  

Comparisons of the cost of living in different areas of the country for a given time period are available from ACCRA.

Producer Prices
