Empire State Development (ESD) today announced the upcoming Global NY Export Promotion Tour, which will bring representatives from Global NY’s international offices to regions across New York State from September 3–11, 2025. The tour will offer in-person information sessions and one-on-one consultations for New York businesses interested in expanding to international markets. Interested attendees can register at https://esd.ny.gov/global-ny-trade-promotion-tour

Empire State Development President, CEO, and Commissioner Hope Knight said, "New York companies are ready to compete and thrive in the global marketplace, and the Global NY Export Promotion Tour is a powerful way to help them get there. By bringing our international representatives directly to businesses across the state, we're making it easier for companies to explore new markets, grow their customer base, and create jobs at home. This tour is a key part of ESD’s mission to connect local success with global opportunity."

Foreign office representatives participating in the tour represent countries across six continents, including Africa, Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, China, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, the Middle East, Singapore, South America, South Korea, and Taiwan.

At each event, Global NY representatives will deliver presentations offering insights into global market trends and export opportunities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in Q&A sessions and meet individually with representatives during pre-scheduled, one-on-one consultations.

Events are free and open to the public, but space is limited. Pre-registration is required for all sessions, and confirmation emails with consultation time slots will be sent based on program criteria. For more information or to RSVP, please visit esd.ny.gov/GlobalNY
