Empire State Development (ESD) today announced that Global NY’s country directors from Europe and Israel will be visiting Rome on Thursday, October 26 to speak about export opportunities for New York State businesses in their respective markets. Global NY is New York's portal for both foreign businesses looking to invest in New York and for local businesses interested in exporting internationally.
Empire State Development President, CEO & Commissioner Howard Zemsky said, “New York has strong cultural and economic ties with both Europe and Israel, making these ideal markets for first-time and expanding exporters.”
Speakers at the event will include Terry Potter, Senior Project Director for Global NY Europe and Gerry Stoch, Director of Global NY Israel. Participating companies will learn about sales channels, regulatory issues and how to find a reputable distributor, and will be able to join roundtable discussions and one-on-one meetings.
The event will take place from 8:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Mohawk Valley Edge in Rome.
