We are marking the 37th anniversary of New York State’s MWBE Program at this year's Forum with a new theme – Unfazed and Undeterred: A Commitment to our MWBE Community – highlighting the achievements and continued growth of MWBEs across the state.
Join us on November 18 for the 15th year of this dynamic annual event which will bring together MWBEs, NYS agencies and authorities, prime contractors, and other strategic partners to connect MWBEs to business opportunities.

Forum Agenda
What to Expect at the 2025 MWBE Forum
MATCHMAKING
These sessions will better connect MWBEs to aligning contract opportunities and to provide businesses with guidance on building meaningful relationships. Vetting of business services will be conducted to match each to agencies and private companies with viable contract opportunities.
FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING
Training sessions in certification and access to capital will be provided to share information and resources to best prepare MWBEs for contract opportunities. The training focuses on capacity building and preparedness for contracts.
CLINICS
The “Clinics” will serve as opportunities for MWBEs to receive 1-on-1 support and guidance in certification, access to capital, capability statements, and RFP/bid opportunities.
EXHIBIT HALL
The opportunity to network is a staple to business related events and for all DMWBD event surveys, networking and relationship building is indicated as the top benefit for MWBEs. For the exhibit hall, NYS agencies, authorities and select private companies including Prime Contractors will be invited to participate. The exhibit hall will be active for the entirety of the event except during the awards reception.
PANELS
Information exchange and contract opportunity highlights continue to be a key feature of the Forum each year. The panels give MWBEs the opportunity to hear directly from agencies, stakeholders, and subject matter experts. For this year’s Forum and given the higher demand for networking, our goal is to host panel sessions only in the morning into early afternoon.
WORKSHOPS & OPPORTUNITY SHOWCASES
These sessions will enhance programming to accommodate more engaged and interactive learning and knowledge building on key regional projects for newly certified/start-up entrepreneurs and experienced/long-running businesses.
MWBE CHAMPIONS AWARD RECEPTION & LUNCHEON
The annual awards reception recognizes and awards MWBEs, agencies and MWBE community stakeholders.
