Transparency at Empire State Development
Governor Kathy Hochul has committed to a new era of improved transparency and increased accountability throughout New York State government. As part of that pledge to New Yorkers, she has asked state agencies for plans that will proactively provide greater access to information and data—those agency plans are outlined here.
As New York State’s chief economic development agency, Empire State Development (ESD) is committed to transparency in sharing information and data related to our mission: to promote a vigorous and growing state economy, encourage business investment and job creation, and support diverse, prosperous local economies across New York State through the efficient use of loans, grants, tax credits, real estate development, marketing and other forms of assistance.
