About Moynihan Station
The Moynihan Station Development Project plan was refocused to include a phased approach, increased train and passenger capacity at Penn Station, as well as to ensure the safety and security of all Penn Station passengers. The future Moynihan Station will connect the historic James A. Farley Post Office Building with Penn Station, expanding the busiest train station in the country. The first phase is currently underway.

Moynihan Station Development Corporation seeks to increase the rail capacity of the current Penn Station and more efficiently link multiple transportation projects. A new facade in the form of the grand, ESD-owned Farley Post Office Building will create a fitting entrance into New York. The resulting super-hub will revitalize the neighborhood and create a new business district.
